Insurance, FSA and HSA for Rx LensesUpdated an hour ago

Do You Accept Insurance?

We are not able to bill insurance directly. We do not submit claims to vision plans, and we cannot process an order as an in-network benefit.

That does not always mean your plan is off the table. Many vision plans include out-of-network benefits that reimburse you after you pay. If yours does, you pay us as a regular customer and submit your receipt to your plan afterward. What is covered, and how much, is entirely up to your plan, so check with your provider before you order.

Can I Use My FSA or HSA?

Yes. Prescription eyewear is a common eligible expense, and if you have a physical FSA or HSA card, you can use it at checkout just like any other card.

If you would rather pay another way and get reimbursed, that works too. You will just need an itemized receipt.

How Do I Get an Itemized Receipt?

Included in your purchase is an itemized receipt. Once an order is placed, the itemized receipt should appear as a direct link to your order in the thank you page, along with the confirmation email containing your order information. Running into any problems? Please reach out to our Rx Eyewear Experts who are more than happy to help.

An itemized receipt from us lists the individual line items on your order rather than a single total, which is what most plans and administrators want to see.

Will I Definitely Be Reimbursed?

We cannot say. Coverage rules vary from one plan and administrator to the next, and some ask for documentation we are not part of, such as a copy of your prescription or a specific claim form.

The most reliable approach is to ask your plan what they need before you order. Then, whatever documentation they ask us for, get in touch and we will do our best to provide it.
