Whether you're logging miles on the road or navigating technical singletrack, the right lens sharpens what's ahead and keeps your eyes comfortable across changing light. Here's how to choose.




A note on polarization for running

For trail running, especially, non-polarized is the better call. At pace, roots, rocks, and surface changes carry depth information your eyes need to react quickly. Polarization can soften those cues. It can also make wet roots and rocks harder to read, turning useful hazard information into flat surfaces. For road running, the tradeoff is less critical, but non-polarized still gives you cleaner visual tracking and better performance in variable light.
